Chorus America Conference COVID-19 Guidance

Clear COVID-19 safety protocols are essential to making our 2023 Conference Event a safe and joyful space for us to gather. Our goals are that attendees will know what protocols to expect, will feel comfortable gathering, and will stay safe and healthy. Our protocols will follow a three-tiered approach to be the most responsive to health conditions and guidelines as CDC, state, and city mandates are updated.

Tier One: CDC mandates.  Chorus America will reference the CDC community map tool to determine the level of community spread and may adopt the recommended protocols, such as masking while indoors when community level spread is high. San Francisco, California is located in San Francisco county.

Tier Two: State and city mandates.  Chorus America will honor the COVID-19 mandates of our host state of California and our host city of San Francisco that may be in place at the time of the conference. Attendees and performers will be required to abide by any mandates that may be in place.  As of March 2, 2023, there are currently no mandates in place. The State of California has ended its state of emergency related to COVID-19 as of February 28, 2023.

Tier Three: Venue mandates.  Chorus America will honor the COVID-19 policies of our host venues. Attendees and performers will be required to abide by any mandates that may be in place. As of March 2, 2023, there are currently no policies in place.

Chorus America strongly recommends that all attendees and participants are aware of their own personal health status and take steps recommended by the CDC related to vaccinations prior to attending a conference. We look forward to safely gathering together soon.
