Rubric and Core Values
Applications will be evaluated using the scoring rubric below. We highly encourage all applicants to review the grant program’s core values and scoring rubric prior to submitting an application.
Core Values
- New contributions to the choral art form. We value partnerships that allow for creative freedom, engender mutual trust, and further the artistic vision and mission of choruses.
- Sharing artistically meaningful work with communities. The choral field is strengthened by collaborations with composers that center diverse perspectives in the engagement and sharing of work and extend the life of the commission beyond its premiere.
