This session focuses on how to communicate effectively by understanding choirs’ target audiences and the marketing communications mix needed to attract and serve this constituency. Participants learn about the importance of branding, the use of primary online marketing tactics, including websites, email, social media and search engines, and how to develop a marketing plan and measure its impact. The session also includes group branding and SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) exercises that focus on the importance of presenting a consistent brand that accurately and clearly reflects the mission of the choir.
