Chase Maggiano has served as Executive Director of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC (GMCW) since the fall of 2013. In that time, Chase has overseen organizational debt payoff, budget restructuring, increased brand awareness, an artistic director transition, and an enlarged footprint in the Washington metro area and beyond. GMCW is one of the nation’s premier GALA choruses with a membership of nearly 300 singers and a $1.1 million budget. GMCW is often seen on television at various political events in the nation’s capital, and recently toured Cuba to promote LGBTQ rights on the island. This tour resulted in a Live From Cuba album and unprecedented international press attention for the chorus.
