Over the last 10 years, the act of decision-making in the arts and cultural sector has been transformed by data. In this session, discover new insights into sector-wide arts participation in Greater Boston by exploring data from the ArtsBoston Audience Initiative, a collaboration of over 55 organizations containing 1.5 million arts-going households. Learn how your organization can harness the power of data to invite and retain new audiences and hear directly from Boston-area choral organizations about lessons learned, including tips and tricks you can put right into action. Case studies by Handel and Haydn Society, Cantata Singers and Boston Gay Men’s Chorus will be presented.
