For centuries, group singing has been an activity that young and old have enjoyed together, transcending age-specific designations. Join us as we explore the potential of intergenerational singing to foster community in educational partnerships. In this session, hear representatives from three projects recently funded by Chorus America’s Music Education Partnership grants program share how they are meeting the needs of their community by engaging singers across generations, as well as the joys, challenges, and meaningful practices they have discovered to support singers of all ages.
