Beyond Outreach: Community Engagement that Makes a Real Contribution to our Communities

Singing is a powerful tool in knitting together people and communities. Director of The Weill Music Institute Sarah Johnson will share the core tenets that inform Carnegie Hall’s community engagement programs, as well as strategies for assessing community needs, building effective partnerships and collaborations, and measuring outcomes. You will also have a chance to interact with your colleagues to share practical ideas and resources for use in your own community.
