Taking Flash Mobs a Step Further

We've all seen the viral videos: singers gathering in a train station or mall food court to treat unsuspecting bystanders to a surprise performance. But recently, organizations have been taking their art to the streets in more participatory ways. See what happens when 75 pianos are placed in public locations around the city of Boston, or when Carnegie Hall and Ensemble ACJW put an orchestra in the middle of New York City with a sign that says simply, "Conduct Us."
