Chorus America offers several ways for members and non-members to get the word out about their news and events:
ChorusAmerica.org provides a public calendar where anyone may submit concert, event, and audition listings. To submit a calendar item, you must first log into your account in the upper right corner of your screen.
If you have not yet created a site user account, register here. If you have previously received emails from Chorus America, please use that email address when signing up.
Posting to Member News is a free, online, and exclusive service for Chorus America members. Information that you would typically announce in a press release is perfect for Member News. Our website is visited by people all over the world—don't miss out on the chance for international exposure.
These postings will also be reviewed for publication in our e-newsletters, The Voice magazine, and for posting on our Twitter feed. For Members Only:
Editors will continue to publish news about Chorus America members in The Voice. In general, editors accept submissions pertaining to:
- World premieres
- Awards, grants, and honors received
- Recording/book releases
- Staff appointments and retirements
- Dynamic, high quality chorus photos with captions
(Editors will no longer publish anniversary announcements after the Summer 2012 issue.)
Important note about photos: Only high resolution images (300 dpi or higher) of member choruses and individuals are accepted. Please send your photos as file attachments to [email protected] with credits noted. Editors prefer action shots over posed shots.
