The Chorus America Board of Directors elected three new members during the June meeting immediately preceding the 2026 Conference in Minneapolis.

Brandon Elliott, the founder and artistic director of the California-based Choral Arts Initiative, leads the choirs as professor of music at Saddleback College, and also works with Disney Live Entertainment. Josephine Lee has made her mark as a groundbreaking musician, teacher, and community organizer, inspiring thousands of children and youth each year in her role as president and artistic director of Uniting Voices Chicago. Alex Nelson serves as the vice president for artistic production and operations at the GRAMMY Award- winning Pacific Chorale and is responsible for shepherding their video and recording projects to commercial and critical success.

Three board members also completed their Chorus America board service in June. Alysia Lee rotated off the board after completing two three-year terms. Two board members also rotated off after completing the maximum nine-year term allowed by Chorus America's by-laws: Charlie Berardesco and Eugene Rogers. They were honored by the Board of Directors and membership at Chorus America's Annual Meeting during the 2026 Conference.
