Announcing #RediscoverHarmony: A Fall Social Media Campaign for Choruses

Chorus America is excited to announce #RediscoverHarmony, a social media campaign for and about choruses that will launch this fall. #RediscoverHarmony offers all choral organizations a platform and social media toolkit to amplify their work and community impact.

#RediscoverHarmony focuses on raising public awareness about the amazing value that choruses bring to their communities. The inclusion, freedom of expression, unity, and joy found in singing together makes it the perfect antidote to the isolation and dissonance that we’ve all experienced over the past year – and that’s been so present in society well before the pandemic. With this campaign, we hope to give the millions of choruses, singing ensembles, and singers out there an opportunity to speak in a unified voice, and to inspire support for our field as we all re-emerge.

The campaign is centered around a website: RediscoverHarmony.com. The website will have three main components, all freely available for choruses in the U.S. and Canada to use in their own campaigns and messaging:

  • A location-based directory of choruses so that people can search for -- and donate to -- organizations in their communities.
  • An interactive tool that lets website visitors play with the voices of real choral singers to create their own chords.
  • A social media toolkit that ensembles, singers, and choral music lovers can customize and use to spread the #RediscoverHarmony word.
Add Your Chorus to the #RediscoverHarmony Directory

We’ll be sharing much more about this campaign as we prepare for an October launch. For now, please fill out this form to make your chorus one of the first to be part of the location based directory when it goes live.
