J. Woody Lotts

Bilingual Arts Leader

J. Woody Lotts is a bilingual arts leader with a strong background in both the creative and business sides of the arts. He holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University and has an extensive career spanning arts administration, education, and performance. Woody served as the Executive Director of the Numerica Performing Arts Center, where he led the organization through its two best years of financial success, demonstrating his effective leadership and vision. He also taught at Colegio Lord Byron in Arequipa, Peru, where he educated students from third grade through senior year, immersing himself in diverse cultures
and education systems. A professional actor, Woody’s career includes roles in popular TV shows such as Z Nation and Twin Peaks, along with commercials for Microsoft and Google. Notably, he also portrayed the lead singer in a commercial for Rock Band 4. His experience in front of the camera complements his deep understanding of performance, which is a central theme of his arts leadership work.
