Alyssa Clifford

Joining as the representative from Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA) is Alyssa Clifford. She has a bachelor's degree in Communications and a master's degree in Management and Leadership with a specialization in Civic and Social Justice.

With an extensive background in program development, organizational systems, and product management, Alyssa developed and then opened the LSSNCA Resource Center in January of 2023. The unique space offers a hub for community, agency partners, program participants, and staff to unite in offering a dignified approach to itemized and program support across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Since opening its doors, and with the generosity and support from the surrounding community, the LSSNCA Resource Center has served over 5,000 individuals inclusive of refugees, immigrants, asylum-seekers, foster youth, and people experiencing homelessness.

When Alyssa is not innovating or developing new partnerships at the LSSNCA Resource Center, she can be found exploring coffee shops, traveling, and taking long walks with her dog.
