Cheyenne Boynton

Cheyenne Raquel Boynton is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist, arts administrator, and a proud Tejana. She is currently serving as Director of Advancement for the Pensacola Children's Chorus (PCC). Cheyenne is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and holds a BA in Integrated Arts and Social Sciences from the University of North Texas. 

Her career includes key leadership positions as Education and Community Action Manager at Cara Mía Theatre and Interim Manager of Educational Programs at the Dallas Theatre Center. Her career in Pensacola began at Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, where she quickly distinguished herself by significantly increased volunteer engagement, streamlined fundraising efforts, and managing major events that raised over $350,000. At her current position Cheyenne’s leadership and experience have allowed her to lead successful new fundraising efforts and events, as well as secure multiple streams of revenue for PCC during a turbulent time for the arts in Florida.  

Throughout her arts admin career, she also worked professionally as a musician and theatre artist. She collaborated with Grammy-affiliated artists while making substantial contributions to arts education and social justice in her work. Cheyenne’s work, including study materials and resource guides that are still being used by these organizations, has touched countless historically underserved youth and communities, showcasing her ability to integrate performance art with community action. Cheyenne’s diverse background in performance, education, fundraising, and arts administration positions her as a dynamic force in using the arts and community engagement as vehicles for positive change.
