True Concord Appoints First Composers-in-Residence

True Concord proudly announces its first Composers-in-Residence - two highly-sought composers of national prominence, Jocelyn Hagen and Timothy C. Takach. Many know of the couple's high regard in the choral world as composers, singers, and for their performing duo, Nation, and we are excited to engage them in this special partnership. The initial two-year agreement involves commissions and performances, adjudication of True Concord’s annual Stephen Paulus Emerging Composers Competition, assistance in the development of True Concord's 2023-24 20th Anniversary Season, and an ever-deepening relationship with Tucson’s musical community and the True Concord family.
