Thomas Lloyd's "Bonhoeffer" performed at Harvard preceded by pre-concert panel discussion

The choral-theater work Bonhoeffer by composer Thomas Lloyd was performed on April 11 at Harvard University by Andrew Clark conducting the Harvard Glee Club. The work first came to notice when its premiere recording by The Crossing was nominated for a GRAMMY award in 2017. The Harvard performance was preceded by a panel on how Bonhoeffer’s life and writing have been variously engaged for conflicting aims in the midst of current political and religious divisions. In addition to Lloyd, panelists were Mac Loftin and Dudley Rose of Harvard and Jennifer McBride of the International Bonhoeffer Society.
