ProMusica Arizona Chorale Auditions

ProMusica Arizona (PMAZ) is pleased to announce Chorale auditions for the upcoming season.
 
Plans for the PMAZ Chorale & Orchestra 2015-2016 concert season titled American Dreams include:

  • A commemoration of the sesquicentennial anniversary of the end of the Civil War featuring Vaughn Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem.
  • A holiday concert including iconic Christmas music and readings from The Night Before Christmas and other secular poetry.
  • A celebration of two of the most American genres of music: Jazz and the American Musical.
  • The closing concert of the season honoring our homeland with a tribute to America's National Parks.

Auditions will be held at Crosswinds Presbyterian Church, 20125 N 15th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85027
Monday, June 1, 7-9 pm
Tuesday, June 2, 7-9 pm
 
Adult Chorale -- All voices are welcome to audition. Vocalists should be able to read music and have experience in choral singing. A one-minute prepared song is required.  Auditions for vocalists consist of an assessment of range, vocal quality, intonation and reading ability. Accompanist will be provided.
