The Pensacola Children’s Chorus has announced the retirement of founding directors Susan and Allen Pote at the completion of the Chorus’ 2015-2016 season, in June 2016. Upon retirement, the Potes will have served as artistic directors of the nationally-acclaimed Chorus for 26 years.
Linda Brent Baradon, president of the board said, “We wish the Potes much success in their new endeavors. The board looks forward to our national search for a new artistic director.”
Members of the search committee, including advisers from the national choral community and local leadership, have begun a search to ensure the placement of the most qualified candidate by the end of the season.
