The Houston Chamber Choir is thrilled to welcome Brian Miller to the team as the new Executive Director. Miller previously oversaw the operational and administrative aspects of the Houston Symphony Chorus. Before transitioning to fine arts management, Miller had a successful career in public education where he directed two 6A Texas high school choral programs. He served as a TMEA All-State section leader, held region-level organizational positions, and sang professionally with both Cantare Houston and the Houston Men’s Choir.
Miller holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Stephen F. Austin State University where he studied with Dr. Tim King and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Southwestern University where he studied with Dr. Kenny Sheppard. Miller now joins the Houston Chamber Choir with over a decade of experience in the choral world.
