Cabaret VII: Wanderlust: Broadway Songs about Places Far and Near, with Online Auction on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. The Cabaret Troupe’s 7th annual fundraiser is a trip around the world, to places both real and imagined. This promises to be a night of adventure, cultural commentary, and humor! Performing virtually will not lower the bar for our talented cast who will be out of their PJs (unless the role calls for it) and accompanied by our wonderful musical director, Holland Jancaitis, thanks to the magic of video editing. Expect songs that explore travel, optimism, longing, and a sense of home—how appropriate! Our troupe includes a former Broadway star, a former Metropolitan Opera children’s chorus member, and performers who have been featured in and directed many local and regional productions. The auction items will be available online for those who are unable to join us for the performance.
