Great River Chorale, Minneapolis Guitar Quartet and Minnesota Dance Ensemble

Great River Chorale directed by Dr. Mary Kay Geston collaborated with the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet and dancers from Minnesota Dance Ensemble to present Love’s Dance on April 28, 2019 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The program included Music of Love and the Stars, four songs for mixed choir and guitar quartet by Jeffrey Van, and Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer, op. 52, among other selections. Great River Chorale , a 50-voice auditioned adult choir, presents concerts and outreach performances each season and is the principal choral partner of the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra. The ensemble has been featured on Classical Minnesota Public Radio’s Regional Spotlight and has been selected three times for Classical MPR’s Taste of the Holidays promotional CD featuring “the best of Minnesota’s regional ensembles.”
