The Lower Great Lakes Chapter of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences announced the 2012 nominations and "Be the ICC" was nominated in the commercial category.
The 60-second commercial is the first of four in a recruiting series that incorporates a highly stylized filming technique and concept.

"For the recent ICC campaign we had an opportunity to put together a piece that blurs the line between documentary style and a sense of child-like wonder and mystery. The distinct visual style and message is something that the choir had never attempted and we are happy to bring a more creative approach to their recruiting efforts," said Matthew Hill, director.
Matthew Hill, (Managing Producer, SceneStream Films, John Wynne, (photographer) and Laura Neidig (ICC Marketing Director) were nominated. The awards will be announced on June 2 in Indianapolis, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
