Cincinnati Children’s Choir Announces a $25,000 Gift from Don and Carole Bell

The Cincinnati Children’s Choir (CCC) is excited to announce the receipt of a gift in the amount of $25,000.00 from Don and Carole Bell to support the operation and high artistic standards of the Cincinnati Children’s Choir.

This is the first gift of this size made to the Cincinnati Children’s Choir; one for which Robyn Lana, Founder and Managing Artistic Director of the Cincinnati Children’s Choir, is extremely thankful.  “The generous gift from Don and Carole Bell will make a lasting difference to our program helping children in need for years to come,” said Lana.

With over $10,000 in tuition assistance requests this year and only $6,000.00 available in the budget, the Cincinnati Children’s Choir is finding it more and more challenging to meet the needs of its very deserving families. For many children, participation in the Cincinnati Children’s Choir offers an escape from some very real struggles and an opportunity for them to be themselves. One singer recently said, “When I'm singing, it feels like I'm in a whole different world with no worries.” CCC also prides itself on providing a safe and welcoming environment, to which another singer said, “When I go to choir I feel as though I have a second family.”

The $25,000.00 gift has been matched dollar-for-dollar from CCC’s reserves and has been invested. As this fund grows, the interest earned will be used for tuition assistance enabling more children to benefit from this outstanding organization.
