Capital Singers of Trenton Appoint New Conductor

Capital Singers of Trenton has appointed Vinroy D. Brown, Jr. as the new Artistic Director and Conductor, succeeding Founding Artistic Director and Conductor Richard M. Loatman. Brown, a graduate of Westminister Choir College, hold degrees in Sacred Music and Music Education. He is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Morristown High School and is the Director of Music and Worship Arts at the Elmwood United Presbyterian Church in East Orange, New Jersey. He is also the Founder, Artistic Director and Conductor of the community-based Elmwood Singers and a guest conductor of the Trenton's Children's Chorus. Mr. Brown has recently been appointed to conduct the Westminster Choir College Jubilee Singers.
