Acappellago continues its traditions of premieres

Acappellago, a volunteer a cappella choir in the western suburbs of Chicago, continues its tradition of presenting premieres by living composers this season with the world premiere of Robert Applebaum's setting of "We Three Kings" and "Alleluja" by Michael Orlinsky at its December 2014 concerts.

In their upcoming March 2015 concerts, Acappellago will give the Chicago premiere of "Where go the Boats?" by Dale Trumbore. Additionally, Acappellago's music director will give the world preminere of Greg Bartholomew's setting of "Barefoot, In Seaspray" for clarinet and piano at Acappellago's biennial benefit on February 21, 2015 at the LeJardin Room at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL.
