5-day January conducting workshop with conductor Noel Edison in Toronto

The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir is now accepting applications from conductors for its 6th annual Choral Conductors' Symposium. The Symposium will be led by acclaimed conductor Noel Edison and will take place in Toronto from January 26-30, 2016.  Deadline for applications is November 20, 2015.

The full Symposium schedule and application details are on the TMC Symposium webpage: http://www.tmchoir.org/emerging-conductors-program/tmc-choral-conductors-symposium/

The Symposium annually attracts talented conductors from across Canada and the U.S. who come together for a series of workshops and coaching sessions with Noel Edison. The five participating conductors work throughout the week on a diverse range of repertoire with the acclaimed 100-voice Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the professional 20-voice Elora Festival Singers. The Symposium week ends with a free community concert that is also webcast internationally; each participating conductor conducts a number of works during the concert.
