Conference hosts the Cincinnati May Festival present Mendelssohn’s epic masterpiece Elijah, among the best-loved works in the choral canon. Based on passages found in the Old Testament, Elijah tells the tale of one of the Bible’s most influential prophets: his curse, his miracles, his struggles, and ultimately his ascent to heaven in a flaming chariot.
