Have you ever picked up your annual audit and been overwhelmed? Have you ever wondered how the audited financial statements connect to each other and your great artistic programming? Or do you simply wish you knew what funders are seeing when you send them your financials?

In today’s economy, it is critical that you, as a leader of your chorus, understand the “story” behind your chorus’ financial results so that you can convey that information to both internal and external stakeholders. This workshop will help you better understand the four key audited financial statements, and how you can use them to tell a more compelling story about your chorus. We will also introduce the concept of “Strategic Financial Management” and the internal systems necessary to ensure effective financial management for your chorus to remain sustainable.

If possible, participants should bring their most recent audited financial statements.

In-Depth Seminars are separately ticketed events for a $75 fee. They take place on Wednesday, June 15, from 12:30-3:30 pm, before the full Conference begins.
