In-Depth Seminar

In order to thrive in our increasingly diverse society, we need to be able to talk about diversity and inclusion with each other and within our organizations. This interactive workshop creates a safe space to engage with that conversation. Eric Love, director of staff diversity and inclusion at the University of Notre Dame, starts by exploring the benefits of diversity and the ways in which different cultural backgrounds and experiences create different attitudes, values, and biases. Through sharing personal experiences with diversity and inclusion, we’ll gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be truly welcoming and inclusive – and leave with new vocabulary, tools, and an increased comfort level to continue the conversation in our own communities.
