Understanding copyright and what is permitted under the existing statutes is important for every choral organization and everyone who leads a choral organization. This panel of industry experts will walk you through all aspects of copyright law – including rehearsal aides, performing, and recording – as well as the different guidelines for educational organizations, church-affiliated groups, and community organizations. They will also discuss how publishers are adapting to new technology and its impact on how organizations would like to purchase and use copyrighted materials. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask their own questions.
