Miguel Aldahondo

Miguel Aldahondo is the Director Of Community Programs and a proud alumnus of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus (PCC). A native of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he moved to Pensacola at the young age of 12 and has been an active performer and educator in the area ever since. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of West Florida where he explored many genres ranging from opera to chamber music and also jazz. After earning his degree in 2013, he became a music educator. He taught voice and piano at the Gulf Breeze School of Music for 5 years. He then worked as a music educator for the Escambia County School District where he taught general music at the elementary level and choir at the middle and high-school level. It was during the summer of 2021, that he accepted his position at the Pensacola Children’s Chorus. Since then, he has assisted PCC's resident choir program and also worked on building, administrating and directing choral programs throughout Northwest Florida and South Alabama; these programs focus on removing barriers to make the arts more accessible in various communities. When he’s not working with the children’s chorus, he enjoys performing with his band in the local music scene and singing for various churches in Pensacola.
