Michael Kreuzer

Michael Kreuzer was born in Montreal, QC, to a Dine (Navajo) father and a German-Jewish mother. Most of his childhood and youth he spent in Frankfurt/Germany, where he attended medical school.

As a child he had piano and later voice lessons. He was a child actor/extra at the Frankfurt Municipal Opera and Playhouse. He had singing lessons in his youth.

In medical school he was involved in a cabaret group that performed on campus. He joined MenAlive OCGMC as a singer in 2013.

Michael Kreuzer was born with non-binary sex characteristics (intersex) and his preferred pronouns are he or they. He has been active in Intersex advocacy and teaching for almost 10 years. Michael Kreuzer also serves on the board of directors for his chorus and is a member of the New Harmony Task Force at GALA Choruses. Michael Kreuzer has actively been involved in educating choral communities about LGBTQIA with an emphasis on non-binary and intersex.
