Jamie Sutta

Jamie Perez Sutta is a music educator and nonprofit leader in Miami, FL. Two strong threads have consistently woven throughout the fabric of her life: the platforms of singing and teaching as means to create expression, meaning, and connection with others. These are at the heart of what drives her as a leader, a creative individual, and a person dedicated to serving others through music. In the fall of 2011, Mrs. Sutta founded The Children's Voice Chorus (CVC) out of a desire to bring the joy of vocal music to any child who wanted to sing, regardless of their zip code. Under her direction, CVC  choristers have had fantastic performing opportunities, including festival performances in New York, New Orleans, and Hawaii; collaborations with artists like Julian Marley and Enrique Iglesias; and a national performance of "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LIV with gospel artist Yolanda Adams.

Mrs. Sutta holds a bachelor’s in Choral Music Education from Florida State University and a master's in Vocal Jazz Performance from the University of Miami.
