Bach Choir of Bethlehem: "Opening Up Our Hearts: Music and Inspiration of Christmas"

We dearly wish we could gather together to present the music and inspiration of Christmas. But for now, let’s all “open our shut up hearts” to share this beautiful season online. It’s our wish that this year’s Christmas concert offers you joy and comfort, and a holiday filled with peace and hope.  Recorded outdoors in Nazareth and in Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem, the concert features members of The Bach Choir, Bach Festival Orchestra, exquisite soloists and our Bel Canto Youth Chorus, offering seasonal selections from Bach and other composers, along with poetry and sacred texts expressing the beauty of the season.  Concert includes arias from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Concerto for Violin in A Minor, Robert Parsons’ Ave Maria,  an transcendent Silent Night and other seasonal favorites, along with inspiring spoken word text.
