Kevin Koelbl

Kevin is a senior-level production executive with more than 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry, and twelve years specifically in the professional choral environment. Kevin started his career as a vocalist and his performances have taken him around the world and to many varied venues. His residency in Las Vegas with EFX brought him the opportunity to work with Michael Crawford and eventually taking over his roles before leaving the show. Two of Kevin’s highlights of his performing career are the release of his two CDs, Somewhere In Time and This Is Christmas Time.

Kevin eventually moved into the non-profit arts sector and after working for the LA Philharmonic’s education department and then the Da Camera Society as the director of their education programs as well as their production department, he joined the LA Master Chorale as their education programs manager.

When the opportunity arose to return to production, Kevin moved into the position of artistic personnel and production manager. As the Los Angeles Master Chorale grew, Kevin moved up to director of production and then chief production officer where he now oversees a $750K production budget with a concert season at the Walt Disney Concert Hall as well as performances with the LA Philharmonic at the concert hall and the Hollywood Bowl. Kevin is also in charge of the national and international tour of the production Lagrime di San Pietro, directed by Peter Sellars, which premiered in 2016 and will be opening the Salzburg Festival in July 2019.
