Brian Tracey

Brian Tracey is the executive director of the Bluefield Arts and Revitalization Corporation (BARC), a non-profit organization whose purpose is to use the arts to create opportunities for education, employment, and entertainment in downtown Bluefield, West Virginia.

Previously, Mr. Tracey was an executive at Bank of America, leading the company’s community development lending and tax credit investment activities nationwide. Mr. Tracey’s division at Bank of America provided debt and equity financing for affordable housing, charter schools, and economic development projects, using low-income housing, historic, and New Markets tax credits.

Mr. Tracey holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Christian Ministry degree from Abilene Christian University.

Mr. Tracey has served as a board member of more than a dozen local, regional, and national organizations including the AFI Silver Theatre, the Baltimore Development Corporation, the Montgomery County Interagency Commission on Homelessness, and the National Housing Conference. Currently, he is a member of the Planning Commission for the City of Bluefield.
