Bridget George

Bridget George has led the administration of The Bach Choir of Bethlehem as executive director since 1997, including expanded educational programs, recordings, executive production of the film Mr. Bach Comes to Call, a UK-BBC Proms tour, moving to the Bach Choir’s first public space at Heckewelder House, four major fundraising campaigns all exceeding goal, and five successfully completed strategic plans. She holds a BA in philosophy/psychology from Oxford University where she sang in the Schola Cantorum under Andrew Parrot, and a Diploma of Education from Goldsmith’s College, London, where she specialized in incorporating music and theater into primary education. George has worked in arts administration since 1977 including as Touchstone Theatre’s co-founder/producing director (1981-95), and has participated on NEA and PCA panels.
