Lacey Huszcza

A successful ten-year veteran of Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra with a proven track record of excellence, innovation, and leadership, Lacey has served in almost every department of the Orchestra’s administration – development, marketing, special events, production, operations, artistic administration – gaining an unusually rich and varied range of experience in arts management, and was appointed interim managing director during a seven-month search for executive director. Lacey currently oversees all earned and contributed income for LACO, managing the advancement, marketing and box office teams.

In her time at LACO, Lacey has overseen several extraordinary projects, including Lift Every Voice, the Orchestra’s 2017 three-week exploration of the power of music to encourage compassion and promote peace, amidst one of the most politically volatile periods in recent history. Play Me I’m Yours, the high-profile community project in which LACO placed 30 decorated pianos around LA for everyone to play; LACO’s successful Campus to Concert Hall initiative for college students; and pioneering social media projects are further testaments to Lacey’s vision, creativity, organizational skill, and boundless energy.

From 2012-2016, Lacey served as President of the Board of Directors for MBA Women Los Angeles, and in March 2015, Lacey was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras. Lacey holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music and Communications from the University of Colorado and an MBA with emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University.
