Don Lee

Don Lee is an editor, writer, and audio producer, based in St. Paul, Minnesota. For Chorus America, he’s contributed stories to the Voice since 2011, and was named managing editor in 2016. Don spent nearly 20 years on the staff at NPR in Washington DC where he was executive producer of the Peabody Award-winning music program Performance Today, an editor/producer for Morning Edition and The Sunday Show, and host of NPR's Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra broadcasts. At Minnesota Public Radio/American Public Media, he directed arts and culture programming and oversaw cultural news coverage. He created and produced the podcast Liquid Music Playlist for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Don sang with the Handel & Haydn Society in Boston and the Choral Arts Society of Washington DC, and is now an active member of the choir at Unity Church-Unitarian in St. Paul.
