Angel City Chorale
Opening Night Concert
The Angel City Chorale is a 160-voice adult volunteer SATB ensemble in Los Angeles.
Along with their standard concert season, they have toured internationally, appeared on national television (the American Tenors / PBS), and at the Democratic National Convention. Their performance of Africa has gained 2.7 million views on YouTube since January 2016. Among the artists with whom they have performed are Stevie Wonder, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Luther Vandross, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Morten Lauridsen. Angel City Chorale has recorded four commercially released CDs and sang on the new Christopher Tin world music CD (the Drop that Contained the Sea) which debuted at number 1 on the Classical Billboard Music charts.
The Angel City Chorale has performed at many venues in Los Angeles including Walt Disney Hall, the Dolby Theater, and the Microsoft Theater, as well as Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Cape Town Convention Center in South Africa.
