Kate Prescott

Prescott & Associates is a strategic marketing and research firm specializing in the arts. Kate has extensive corporate and non-profit experience in marketing and research, with an emphasis on branding, audience development, and marketing/communications strategies. Prior to starting her own firm, she earned a master of science in marketing from Penn State and spent ten years with a large advertising agency in research, account planning, and account management positions. Kate is a frequently-invited speaker on arts marketing and research including engagements in the U.S., Canada, England, France, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, and Australia.

Recent arts clients include Handel and Haydn Society, Cincinnati May Festival, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, and Kansas City Ballet.
