Jameson Singers

The Jameson Singers, Boston’s newest choral ensemble, was formed in the fall of 2010 by Jameson Marvin, Emeritus Director of Choral Activities and senior lecturer on music at Harvard University. The 60-voice choir is comprised of amateur singers, many of whom are Marvin’s former students. The Singers offer two concerts per year, spanning choral literature from the 15th through the 21st centuries, sacred and secular, a cappella music of the Renaissance, Recent, and Romantic, and choral-orchestral masterworks from Monteverdi and Schütz to Bach, Haydn, Brahms, and Britten.

The Jameson Singers is open by audition to Boston area singers who have choral/vocal experience and quick musicianship.
