David Dombrosky

David Dombrosky brings over 15 years of experience in arts management and technology to his role as chief marketing officer for InstantEncore. He frequently writes and presents on the use of technology within arts organizations, most recently for Arts Midwest, Performing Arts Exchange, Association of Performing Arts Presenters, Theatre Communications Group, National Arts Marketing Project, and Opera America. Prior to joining InstantEncore, David established an arts and technology consultancy, taught graduate courses in arts management at Carnegie Mellon University, directed the Center for Arts Management and Technology, and spent eight years at South Arts designing and managing regional and national programs in the visual, performing, media, and literary arts. David has served as a board member for the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture, Essential Theatre, and the Southern Literature Council. In 2007, Americans for the Arts honored his service to the field with its Emerging Leader Award.  David is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a MA in performance studies and a double BA in psychology and speech communications.
