Caryn Fraim

Caryn Fraim is the director of operations and community engagement at the Choral Arts Society of Washington. She has been with Choral Arts since January 2011 where she manages a variety of education and outreach programs including Concerts for Students, a Partner High School Program, annual MLK Writing Competition, Concert Study Guides, Community Ticket Programs, and Choral Arts’ internship program. Additionally, she supports the board of directors and executive committee, oversees operations, human resources and technology issues, and assisted the search committee during its year-long international search for a new artistic director.

She comes to Choral Arts after serving as director of adult programs and senior outreach at Levine School of Music. Prior to that, she spent five years at Washington National Opera, most recently serving as associate director, education and community programs.  She holds a B.S. in music management from the University of Evansville (IN).
