Nancy Roberts

Nancy Roberts has over 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations, communications and project management for mission-driven organizations. She consults on sustainable communications strategy and social media for arts and “green” groups, including the San Francisco Opera, and teaches a 30-hour course, “Green and Social Marketing for a Better World,” at UC Berkeley Extension. Previously Nancy was director of marketing and public relations for Chanticleer for five years. She was director of marketing for San Jose Symphony, COO for Opera World, and information service director (in charge of research and publications) for OPERA America, the international service organization for professional operas. She serves on the board of directors of the vocal ensemble Clerestory and volunteers as communications director for Green Sangha. Nancy has an MBA in sustainable enterprise (Green MBA) from Dominican University of California, and MA and BA degrees from George Washington University
