Janelle McCoy

Janelle McCoy was appointed Executive Director in 2010, lending her extensive experience in for-profit, social service, cultural, and performing arts organizational revisioning. While working in market research, she was directly responsible for discovering weaknesses and making recommendations for a variety of industries ranging from hospitality to health administration. Through her dotcom work as chief liaison between marketing and technology, Janelle managed remote and onsite teams as large as twenty and was responsible for cost centers in the hundreds of thousands. Of particular note are the various leadership roles she has taken within many community coalitions, the outreach roles performed on behalf of foundations looking to educate their grantees, and the many awards she has received for leadership, performance and artistic vision.
Janelle also enjoyed a distinguished solo classical career, performing with world-class orchestras and artists. Performances by Janelle have been broadcast nationally on NPR’s Performance Today.
