Gina Poole

Gina Poole, teacher and musician, currently directs the Goldenaires, a senior chorus in Natick, Massachusetts. She also serves on the board of the Greater Boston Choral Consortium (GBCC). A passion for choral music and education is a driving force in her life. Since the age of eighteen, Gina has sung with more than a dozen choruses in the metropolitan area of Boston, including the Back Bay Chorale, Chorus pro Music, Heritage Chorale, the New World Chorale, and the Chatham Chorale. A singer (in the ditzy soprano I section!), Gina also plays piano and guitar, and is currently studying percussion. A former schoolteacher in the public schools, Gina has taught at the pre-k through elementary levels; as well as cherub and youth church choirs. Credit is due to these two: Alden Poole, Gina’s Dad, for her great passion for music; and Maurice Carbonneau, her high school concert choir director, for her abiding love of choral music. When not engaged in musical endeavors, Gina enjoys caregiving for her family elders; and gardening with her hubby Dave and puppy Oskar. She is the proud mother of three: Joshua, Sarah and Leah; and grandmother of Amara, the most amazing nine-month-old on the planet!
