Concert: Cappella Romana, Elektra Women's Choir & Coastal Sound Youth Choir

This concert celebrates the vibrant choral culture on both sides of the Pacific Northwest border, featuring the Portland-based chamber vocal ensemble Cappella Romana, Elektra Women's Choir, and the Coastal Sound Youth Choir from the Vancouver area.

Cappella Romana begins a 500-year journey of Greek musical culture from Constantinople to California with poignant chants from the court of the last Eastern Roman (Byzantine) emperors. 

In keeping with its focus on promoting Canadian choral music, Elektra Women's Choir will perform an all-Canadian program.
