From stereotypes to assumptions, the biases present in our society are often beyond our conscious awareness, but they can lead us to engage in actions that—even if unintentionally—harm and discriminate against others. This interactive workshop will define and help us recognize microaggressions and their negative impacts on individual team members and on the success of teams over all. We will also discuss ways to counter microaggressions with micro-affirmations to build a more inclusive environment and a better understanding of one another.
