Brandon Elliott

Brandon Elliott is a conductor, educator, and organizational strategist and the founder and artistic director of Choral Arts Initiative, an award-winning new music ensemble. He is an active leader across the arts and higher education, serving as professor of music and director of choral
and vocal studies at Saddleback College, where he prepares emerging musicians for careers at the intersection of artistry and entrepreneurship. He was recognized as a semifinalist for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award by the Recording Academy, reflecting his commitment to shaping the next generation of musical leaders. Elliott is an authority in contemporary choral repertoire, with over 25 commissioned works and more than 150 premieres to his ensemble’s credit, earning the ASCAP/Chorus America Award for Adventurous Programming and the Louis Botto Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His expertise has been featured in outlets including U.S. News &
World Report, and he was selected as a Fulbright Specialist by the U.S. Department of State. Apart from his work with Choral Arts Initiative, he serves as a consultant for creative organizations and leaders focused on long-term sustainability, and as a casting director with Disney Live Entertainment.
